Luca Scarpellini was born February 12, 1982 in Forlì. Since he was 13 he played in the streets and squares throughout Italy as a juggler and acrobat. Made by both clubs and balls and after it abandoned a career as a mechanical engineer specializing in structural calculations and virtual modeling, graduated with honors in theater design at the University of Fine Arts in Brescia (Head of Rimini).
From 2008 he devoted himself to television, cinema and advertising as a production assistant and responsible for casting and in the same year he began his career as a designer. Under the brand useDesign Luca Scarpellini designs and manufactures its products entirely by hand, pieces made in series of up to 24 pieces of the same nature originating from waste materials and waste recovered in scrap iron, flea markets or on the streets and gathered near the bins.
